The leaves turn from green to bright red. They are so bright against a blue sky.
Some begin to fall from the trees. And curl up and turn crispy. They crunch under my feet.
I love this time of year.

We ride out to the country.
Where I pick out the perfect pumpkin.
And play on trains and sleighs.

Snow covers fall leaves like sugar on gum drops. In flavors of cherry, orange, lemon, lime, cinnamon and spearmint.

I run out on the deck. And run my hand along the rail.

Mom and Dad and I drive to a new town. To play.
It rains. And it is cold.
But when we get to our hotel room, the view from my window is bright.
I wear a coat outside.
I wear a swim suit inside.
I want to take this window home with me.
It is magic.
