I have a toy that is a fish on a stick. When I lift the fish off the stick, small bits of candy pop out of the stick.
As soon as the last bit falls out, I beg for more.
More, I cry.
More food for my fish. And more for me.

I play with my dolls and talk to them. I bounce my balls and talk to them, too.
But my eyes are not open. I am asleep.

I do not like loud sounds. Now that it is spring and folks are out and about, I hear loud sounds every where. Roars from big bikes. Whirs from lawn mowers. Va-rooms from car tires on streets. Buzz from planes in the sky.
I run to Mom and cling to her legs.
