Daddy home, I tell Mom as Dad pulls his car up to the house.
Mommy, hun-ree, I tell Mom when I want to eat.

I like Mom’s spice drawer. It has small jars that make sounds when I shake them.
I sit down on the floor and take off the caps. And shake the jars. Until there are green specks all over the place.

A box comes in the mail. Mom pulls a suit out of it. A swim suit. For me.
It has stripes. And some stripes are orange. That is just what I want.
